WOW! Hungarian Tímea Babos wins Australian Open Ladies’ Doubles title!
Much smoother than expected, the N°2 pair of Tímea Babos and Kristina Mladenovic won first place against N°1 Hsieh Su-Wei, Barbora Strycova in the Australian Open final, without losing any set throughout the whole tournament and thus winning their third Grand Slam title.
“I would like to thank the most important person on the court right now standing next to me: Tímea. She is way more than my partner, we go through many things together on and off the court and without her, probably I wouldn’t be standing here today” said Kristina.
